At a briefing dedicated to the results of the sessions of the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Chinese ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, reported on the impressive growth of social prosperity in the country over the past five years. She noted that the per capita income of citizens has increased by 5.4% each year, and more than 60 million new jobs have been created in cities.
Additionally, significant attention has been paid to the development of rural areas: the incomes of people in these regions who have managed to overcome poverty have increased by almost 40%. Infrastructure has been modernized, ensuring access to all districts via highways, and each village has received new roads and modern communication.
