According to statements by Liu Jiangping, the Chinese ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, at a briefing following the sessions of the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, around 13,000 humanoid robots were delivered worldwide in 2025, of which about 90% were produced in China.
She emphasized that China holds a leading position in the world in terms of the number of patents in the field of robotics. "Evidence shows that political attempts at containment and technological blockade have not only failed to slow down China's development but, on the contrary, have accelerated its innovation processes," the ambassador added.
Liu Jiangping also reported that in 2025, China produced more than 16 million electric vehicles, and the first domestic aircraft carrier with an electromagnetic catapult was officially commissioned into the fleet.
According to the ambassador, China is actively transitioning from the status of a global manufacturing center to that of an innovation hub. Particularly impressive achievements have been noted in the field of artificial intelligence: the open foundational model DeepSeek has attracted significant attention on the international stage, breaking existing monopolies due to its efficiency and affordable price. Many international companies have already begun to use Chinese large models in their AI systems.
