Israel carried out an airstrike on a residential building in the center of Beirut, killing six people
The complete destruction of the building was accompanied by damage to vehicles on the busy road near the strike site.
It is worth noting that this building had already come under fire on March 12, but at that time it withstood the attack. This latest strike was the fourth in just a week.
Israeli authorities claim that this structure was used by "Hezbollah" to store significant amounts of money; however, no specific evidence supporting this information has been presented.
This airstrike occurred against the backdrop of intensified Israeli operations in southern Lebanon in response to shelling from border areas. The increase in attacks on central parts of Beirut, which had previously been rare, raises serious concerns regarding the risk to civilians and the potential escalation of the conflict.
