Mojtaba Khamenei
The new Supreme Leader of the country, Mojtaba Khamenei, is in good condition, according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He noted that the minor injuries sustained from the attack by the US and Israel do not threaten his health.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Araghchi emphasized that he has reliable information about Khamenei's condition, who, according to him, feels well. Mojtaba Khamenei was elected as the Supreme Leader of Iran on March 8, but he has not yet made any public statements since then. His address to the people was read on television only once. US President Donald Trump stated that he does not have accurate information about Khamenei's health. Nevertheless, Iranian authorities have repeatedly assured the public that despite the injuries, his health is not a cause for concern. As reported by The Telegraph, Mojtaba Khamenei survived the missile attack on February 28 because he had gone for a walk shortly before the shelling began.
