A flare on the Sun occurred at 15:15 Moscow time, accompanied by a noticeable plasma ejection towards Earth.

Additionally, this event led to the destruction of a medium-sized prominence, which will further increase the mass of the ejected gas.

Scientists note that this phenomenon is related to rare frontal impacts. Apparently, the center of the plasma structure will be directed towards Earth. This year, the planet has already encountered a similar impact: from January 19 to 21, Earth experienced a storm at a level close to G5, which was accompanied by the strongest radiation storm of the 21st century," they add.
