According to Iranian state media and Reuters, Iran has denied reports of a ballistic missile launch towards Turkey. A representative of the central command "Khatam al-Anbia" noted that the incident may be linked to attempts to worsen relations between the two neighboring countries.

Iran believes that the situation requires a thorough investigation, as Tehran suspects that the U.S. and Israel may be involved, seeking to create discord between Ankara and Tehran.

On March 13, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported the interception of a ballistic missile that entered the country's airspace from the Iranian side. This is already the third such incident since the beginning of the month.

In response to the incident, Turkey has reached out to Iran for clarification on the situation. According to Reuters, Ankara expressed dissatisfaction regarding violations of its airspace, while Iran proposed to conduct a joint investigation.

Some Turkish media outlets, including Savunma Sanayi, suggested that the possible target of the missile could have been Incirlik Air Base, but Turkish officials did not confirm this information.
