Iran's Foreign Ministry Confirms Injury of Mojtaba Khamenei

Information about the injury of the new supreme leader of the country was previously reported by The New York Times.


The Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed media reports that Mojtaba Khamenei, the new supreme leader of the country, has been injured.

In their statement, diplomats noted that "he is fine".

It is worth mentioning that The New York Times reported the injury on February 28, the day the US and Israel began their attacks on Iran. Due to this incident, the supreme leader has not appeared in public. In response to this publication, Yusef Pezeshkian, the son and advisor to the President of Iran, assured that Mojtaba Khamenei is in perfect health.

According to available information, it is believed to be a minor injury, possibly a leg injury.
