According to Koons, the actual costs of military operations are likely to "significantly exceed" the stated amount. He also noted that current expenses for operations in Iran amount to over $1.5 billion per day. At the moment, the funds used for military actions were previously allocated by Congress to the Pentagon, and the White House has not yet submitted a request for additional funding.

According to information published by The Washington Post, the Pentagon spent $5.6 billion on munitions in the first two days of the conflict with Iran. It was also reported that the Trump administration plans to approach Congress in the coming days with a request for "tens of billions of dollars" to support the military campaign.
