Zelensky stated that the new round of trilateral negotiations has been postponed due to the US war with Iran

Vladimir Zelensky announced that the upcoming trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the USA, scheduled for this week, have been postponed at the request of the American side. The President of Ukraine noted in his Telegram channel that currently the main focus of the partners is on the situation in Iran.
Zelensky added that Ukraine is ready to meet at any time and in any format that could contribute to resolving the conflict. He also expressed concern that "the Russian side is trying to exploit the situation in the Middle East," turning the Iranian regime's attacks on neighboring countries and US bases into effectively a second front against Ukraine and the West. "This cannot be allowed," the president emphasized.

According to TASS, the trilateral meeting this week will indeed not take place. Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine, Russia, and the USA have held several rounds of negotiations, starting with meetings in Abu Dhabi in January and early February, and then continuing in Geneva in mid-February. The next round was scheduled for early March in Abu Dhabi, but after the onset of the conflict between the USA, Israel, and Iran, Zelensky announced the postponement, but not the cancellation of the meeting.
