According to the consultants' opinion, it is necessary to demonstrate that the U.S. has achieved all its goals in Iran. Although Trump's conservative voters currently support military actions, there are concerns that this support may weaken in the event of a prolonged war.

Additionally, sources familiar with the situation reported that Trump was presented with poll results indicating that the majority of U.S. citizens oppose military actions.

Furthermore, as noted by the WSJ, advisors express concern that rising fuel prices caused by the conflict in the region could negatively impact Trump's support levels.

Nevertheless, officials from the president's administration assure that Trump has support among the population. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stated that "the majority of Americans approve of actions to eliminate threats from the Iranian regime and support operations against terrorists, which is the goal of President Trump," as noted by the WSJ.

Since the beginning of the conflict on February 28, the U.S. and Israel have begun striking Iran. In response, Iran is attacking its Gulf neighbors, who are U.S. allies, with missiles and drones. Tehran has also announced its intention to close the Strait of Hormuz, which could affect the transit of oil and liquefied gas. As a result, global oil prices have significantly increased amid the escalation of the conflict.
