In the UAE, more than 130 missiles and drones were intercepted

On March 7, the air defense forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) successfully intercepted and destroyed 15 ballistic missiles, as reported by the country's Ministry of Defense. One missile landed in the sea, causing no harm.

During these operations, 121 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were recorded, of which 119 were intercepted, and two fell on UAE territory.

Since the beginning of Iran's attacks on the United Arab Emirates, the country's armed forces have recorded 221 ballistic missiles, of which 206 were destroyed. Fourteen missiles fell into the sea, and two landed on UAE soil. A total of 1,305 Iranian UAVs were recorded, of which 1,229 were intercepted, while 76 drones landed on UAE territory. Eight cruise missiles were also destroyed.

According to the Ministry of Defense, three people were killed as a result of the attacks — citizens of Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Additionally, 112 people were injured. Among the injured were citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, the Comoros, and Turkey.

On the same day, Iran attacked the American airbase "Al-Dhafra," located in the UAE. Representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the attack on a girls' school in the Iranian city of Minab was launched from this base, resulting in the deaths of more than 170 people. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian noted that the country would cease attacks on neighboring states if they stopped supporting military actions conducted by the United States and Israel.
