During this conversation, Pezeshkian categorically denied information about a possible attack on Azerbaijan, calling it mere fabrications and a "conspiracy of enemies" seeking to undermine good neighborly relations.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has never had and does not intend to have aggressive intentions towards its neighbors. We strive for the decisive defense of our territory and a stable peace," emphasized the President of Iran.
Pezeshkian added that Iran is actively engaging in dialogue with other countries in the Middle East, especially in light of discussions regarding missile and drone attacks.
He also noted: "In our contacts with neighbors, we clarified that strikes on American military bases are exclusively defensive in nature and aimed at protecting our country and its people."
According to Pezeshkian, foreign military presences are the main factor contributing to instability in the Middle East region.
