The US denies involvement in the strike on the Iranian school

In response to a question about possible US involvement in the incident, Levitt stated: “At this moment, we know nothing about Washington conducting strikes on an Iranian school. We do not attack civilian populations, unlike the isolated Iranian regime.”
She also warned journalists against accusing the US, emphasizing that “American military forces do not engage in such actions.”

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they are investigating information regarding the attack on the Iranian school, claiming that “there is no evidence” that the Israeli Air Force “conducted any operations in that area during the specified period.”
According to reports, on February 28, the US and Israel began a joint operation in Iran. As a result of the strike on an elementary school in Minab, located in the south of the country, Iranian authorities report 171 casualties. On March 3, funerals were held, attended by thousands of citizens. Iranian authorities have appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross for protection of the civilian population during the military operation conducted by the US and Israel.
