Information about whose submarine attacked the frigate remains unknown. According to information provided by the Daily Mirror, the target of the strike was a submarine aimed at the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena of the "Moudj" class. This ship belongs to the Southern Fleet of the Iranian Navy and recently participated in naval exercises in India. There were at least 180 people on board, of whom 30 were rescued and taken to medical facilities.
