U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with The New York Post that he does not rule out the possibility of deploying American ground troops in Iran if the situation requires it.
He noted that the operation called "Epic Fury," initiated after recent attacks on Iranian facilities, is proceeding "ahead of schedule." According to him, as a result of these actions, many high-ranking members of Iran's military and political leadership have been eliminated.
“I’m not saying that ground troops won’t be used. Rather, they may not be needed if the necessity does not arise,” Trump added.
