Reuters: The war in the Middle East has led to a collapse of air traffic, with tens of thousands of tourists stranded at airports

As reported by Reuters, as a result of the conflict, key airports such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, as well as Doha in Qatar, have suffered significant losses, as much of the region's airspace remained closed following the attacks by the US and Israel that resulted in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

These events have impacted not only the Middle East: tens of thousands of travelers found themselves in difficult situations in remote corners such as Bali, Kathmandu, and Frankfurt. According to flight tracking service FlightAware, thousands of flights were canceled or altered across the Middle East, and the airspace over Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, Bahrain, the UAE, and Qatar remained virtually empty, as shown by Flightradar24 maps.
