Israel has launched an offensive operation in Lebanon
Recently, "Hezbollah" carried out rocket and drone attacks on the Israeli city of Haifa, declaring this as "revenge for the blood of Ali Khamenei." According to media reports, some of the rockets were successfully intercepted, but others fell in open areas.
In response to these actions, the IDF struck targets of "Hezbollah" in Lebanon.
According to reports, one of the strikes resulted in the death of Mohammed Raad, the head of the political wing of "Hezbollah" and leader of the parliamentary bloc "Loyalty to the Resistance" in the Lebanese National Assembly.
There are also reports of at least ten casualties as a result of strikes in the southern suburban area of Beirut.
It is worth noting that on February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched a large military operation against Iran, aiming to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. U.S. President Donald Trump had previously expressed intentions to destroy the Iranian navy and defense industry, as well as calling for a change of power in the country.
On the night of March 1, Iran reported the death of its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
