Trading on the London ICE exchange for gas today started with a sharp price increase of 20%. This occurred against the backdrop of heightened tensions in the Middle East.
According to TASS, the price of the April futures at the Dutch TTF hub reached approximately $470 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is equivalent to €38.67 per MWh.
Current gas prices in Europe are at their highest level since the end of January.
