Saudi Aramco stopped operations at its plant after the Iranian strike

Saudi Aramco has suspended operations at its oil refinery in Ras Tanura after a drone strike was reported in the area. This information was published by Bloomberg.

It is specified that this refinery is one of the largest in Saudi Arabia and is capable of processing up to 550,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The plant, located on the shores of the Persian Gulf, was shut down on Monday for safety reasons while Aramco specialists assess the damage. A fire at the site has been brought under control.

Moreover, amid the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, oil prices in London have risen by nearly 10%. Over the weekend, the U.S. and Israel struck Iran, to which Tehran responded with a massive launch of missiles and drones at targets in the region.
