
In his conversations, Saidov emphasized the importance of respecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries in the region. He discussed the necessity of resolving all emerging issues exclusively through peaceful and diplomatic means in accordance with international law to ensure stability in the region.
The minister also held talks with several foreign colleagues, including:
- the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani;
- the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Jarrakh Al-Sabah;
- the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi;
- the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Ayman Safadi;
- the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani;
- the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The discussion also touched upon important aspects of compliance with international law and the protection of sovereignty. During the conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, a commonality of views on issues of territorial integrity and the necessity of resolving tensions through dialogue and diplomatic efforts was noted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan had previously expressed deep concern regarding the escalation of conflicts in the Middle East, caused by the actions of the USA and Israel against Iran and the retaliatory strikes from Iran.
In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid steps that could lead to further escalation of the situation, which has unpredictable military-political and humanitarian consequences.
Uzbekistan continues to advocate for strengthening stability and security in the region, hoping for a swift normalization of the situation.
