
Situation in the Middle East
- After the death of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, the management of the country has temporarily passed to a council that includes President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and a representative of the Guardian Council. Information has also been confirmed regarding the death of the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Secretary of the Defense Council.
- The U.S. Central Command reported the loss of three servicemen as a result of recent events.
