The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned vessels in the strait area that passage through it is currently unsafe due to military actions by the United States and Israel, as well as possible retaliatory actions by Iran, reports the Tasnim agency.
According to the Iranian Red Crescent, military strikes across 24 provinces of the country have resulted in the deaths of over 200 people and injuries to around 750.
Iran's retaliatory attacks on American military bases in the region and on Israel have raised concerns among neighbors in the Persian Gulf. Missiles reached cities such as Doha and Dubai. The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates reported intercepting several missiles; however, some still reached their targets, causing fires and panic among the population. As a result of falling debris, one civilian was killed.
