Explosions Rocked Dubai: Iranian Drones Attacked the Palm Jumeirah Area

Explosions have been reported in Dubai, UAE. It is reported that strikes occurred near the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, likely caused by Iranian missiles and drones.

Eyewitnesses claim that one of the strikes hit the Fairmont The Palm hotel. Dozens of ambulances have arrived at the scene. There are also reports of an explosion at the Five hotel located on Palm Jumeirah. As a result of the attack, Dubai authorities report four injured.

The city has an active air defense system in operation. According to information, at least eight missiles were intercepted over tourist areas.

After one of the strikes, a fire broke out in Palm Jumeirah. Social media users are sharing videos of the moments when a missile or drone fell into residential and hotel areas.

A video is also circulating showing the interception of drones heading towards the Burj Khalifa.

Preliminary data suggests that one of the objects may have been attacked by a Shahed-type drone, although there has been no official confirmation of this information yet.
