Iran attacks American facilities in the Persian Gulf

Iran has confirmed conducting attacks on various facilities in the Persian Gulf. Among the targets were the Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar, Al-Salem in Kuwait, Al-Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates, as well as the U.S. Fifth Fleet base located in Bahrain, reports the agency "Kazinform," citing the Iranian publication Fars.

The Ministry of Defense of Qatar, in turn, stated that their air defense forces successfully prevented several attacks on the territory of the country, noting that all missiles were intercepted before they reached their targets.

However, AFP reports loud explosions that were heard in Doha, the capital of Qatar, shortly after the ministry confirmed the interceptions.

In connection with the aviation threat, authorities closed the airspace, and Qatar Airways suspended all its flights.

New explosions were also recorded in Bahrain in Manama as a result of missile strikes on areas where American military facilities are located. The authorities of the kingdom characterized these attacks as "treacherous" and expressed concerns about violations of the country's sovereignty and security.

Additionally, there are reports of explosions in Riyadh, where loud bangs and a series of explosions were heard against the backdrop of Iran's attacks on countries in the region with American bases.

As a result of the strikes on the UAE, a case of a fatality was registered, as stated by the Ministry of Defense.

Furthermore, the Jordanian military reported intercepting two ballistic missiles over their territory.

Earlier, Arab media reported loud explosions in Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE, claiming that Iran is responding to the joint actions of the U.S. and Israel against the Islamic Republic.
