Pastures will be provided with free land plots for growing fodder crops

At the government meeting held on February 25, a draft amendment to the Land Code was approved, granting livestock breeders the right to 5 hectares of land for growing fodder. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

In addition, livestock breeders will be able to freely own 1 hectare of land designated for winter and spring grazing of livestock. This innovation is expected to enhance the resilience of livestock breeders to climate change and help reduce risks associated with natural disasters.

An important aspect of the bill is also the increase in land plots for citizens: up to 100 hectares for grain and 5 hectares for vegetables intended for collective needs. Furthermore, the authority to allocate land will be transferred to local authorities, which will improve the process and ensure timely distribution of resources.

The bill is expected to be presented to parliament in the coming days.
