Mongolia revokes permits from six foreign NGOs

The Immigration Agency of Mongolia monitors the activities of branches and representative offices of international non-governmental organizations operating in the country. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

As part of its work, the Agency has revoked licenses from six organizations. This decision is based on the Regulation on the issuance, extension, and revocation of permits, as well as oversight of the activities of foreign and international NGOs in Mongolia.

Among the revoked licenses were organizations such as Raphael International and the National Institute for Environmental Research/Monitoring from the Republic of Korea, as well as Global Care, Caritas Czech Republic (Czech Republic), La Mission De Joie (USA), and Silk Way Rally (Russia).

Currently, there are 70 branches and representative offices of international and foreign non-governmental organizations operating in Mongolia.
