A man attempting to break into Trump's residence was obsessed with the Epstein case, - TMZ

On Sunday, an incident occurred at the residence of U.S. President Donald Trump, Mar-a-Lago, involving a man who attempted to breach its grounds with a weapon. According to TMZ, 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin from Cameron (North Carolina), who was shot by Secret Service agents, was obsessed with materials about financier Jeffrey Epstein and supported Trump.

According to the publication, Martin was eliminated after he threatened Secret Service personnel with a shotgun. His mother had previously reported him missing. After the release of Epstein's files in late January, Martin began to actively engage with this topic. In one of the messages sent to a colleague in mid-February, he expressed the opinion that "evil is real" and called for the dissemination of information about the case.

Acquaintances describe Martin as a person with good intentions but feeling disillusioned, especially in light of the economic situation. He openly shared his Christian views and supported Trump's policies, calling him a strong leader. It is also noted that he attempted to create a union at his workplace but found no support.

The night of February 22 became critical for Martin when he attempted to breach the Mar-a-Lago grounds with a canister and was stopped after he brandished a weapon. The circumstances of this incident are currently under investigation.
