The competitions will take place at the Palandöken ski resort located in Erzurum
Erzurum, Turkey, will host the second World Cup in snowboarding under the auspices of FIS. This was announced by the event organizers.
About 300 athletes from 20 countries are expected to compete on the challenging slopes of Palandöken over three days.
This event is being held here for the second time; the city first hosted the World Cup in 2018.
Palandöken is known as one of the best places in Turkey for experienced skiers and snowboarders, thanks to its steep slopes, extensive runs, and high-quality snow cover.
Additionally, from February 12 to 15, the Frozen Festival will take place in Palandöken, promising exciting events.
The festival will feature live performances and DJ sets from well-known artists, après-ski activities, and evening programs.
There will also be competitions in skiing and snowboarding with prize awards, yoga sessions, ice sculpture creation, and various themed workshops.
It is important to note that Erzurum has been recognized as the tourist capital of 2025 by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and has become the first European Capital of Winter Sports according to the Federation of European Capitals and Cities of Sport (ACES).
These achievements have significantly strengthened the city's position on the international winter sports stage.
Palandöken, with its long runs and modern facilities, is perfectly suited for hosting world-class competitions.
