In Kazakhstan, unvaccinated children are temporarily suspended from schools and kindergartens upon detection of measles

According to new guidelines, heads of educational institutions are required to ensure that the vaccination rate among children does not fall below 90%. They must also conduct a so-called "morning filter" to prevent children and teachers with signs of illness from entering schools and kindergartens, as well as inform parents about the necessity of vaccination.

Furthermore, if cases of measles are registered in educational institutions, unvaccinated children must be temporarily suspended from classes.

Previously, representatives of the sanitary-epidemiological control committee noted that mass refusals from parents to vaccinate have led to a decrease in collective immunity in the country. According to their data, 59% of children who contracted measles were unvaccinated due to refusals from vaccination.
