The number of US military aircraft at the military base in Jordan has increased

At the "Muwaffaq Salti" base, more than 60 strike aircraft have been recorded, which is approximately three times the standard number stationed there. Additionally, according to flight data from February 15, at least 68 transport aircraft have landed at the facility. Some of the additional fighters may be located in protected shelters.

The newspaper also noted the appearance of modern F-35 fighters in satellite images, which are not typically stationed at this base, as well as drones, helicopters, and new air defense systems.

Earlier, Reuters reported that there has been an increase in American aviation equipment at the "Al Udeid" base in Qatar in February.

Jordanian officials noted that the deployment of American aircraft and equipment is being carried out as part of a defense agreement between Jordan and the United States.

US President Donald Trump previously stated that a "massive armada" was being directed toward Iran and expressed hope for reaching an agreement on Tehran's nuclear program. In turn, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that the republic would defend its right to enrich uranium, even if it leads to conflict.
