The equipment, which has a height of 58.4 meters, a diameter of 3.2 meters, and weighs 245 tons, was produced by the Indian company KCP Limited from Chennai.
After passing 17 quality control stages, including hydrotesting and non-destructive testing, the column was preserved using nitrogen and is ready for multimodal transportation. For ease of transport, it will be divided into four parts. Delivery will begin in mid-February by sea from the port of Mumbai (India) with subsequent transshipment in Tianjin (China) and road transportation to the site of the oil refinery in Mongolia.
In December 2025, a commission consisting of project management and engineers from the Mongolian oil refinery conducted acceptance tests, during which they confirmed that the column meets all technical standards. The equipment was deemed ready for shipment and installation.
