According to information from the Telegram channel Baza, obtained from anonymous sources, the Telegram messenger may be completely blocked in Russia starting April 1. It is stated that access to the application will be terminated both through mobile networks and wired internet.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation of this information. Roskomnadzor reported that they have no new comments on this matter and did not confirm a specific date for a possible blocking.
Previously, the regulator indicated the possibility of restricting Telegram's operations and emphasized that pressure on the service would continue until it complies with Russian legislation. However, an official announcement of a complete blocking starting April 1 has not yet been made.
