Allergens Found in Perfumes of Famous Brands in Hong Kong
According to information provided by the Kazinform agency and based on data from SCMP, the Consumer Rights Protection Authority in Hong Kong has found high levels of allergens in several premium perfume products, including fragrances from Gucci and Bvlgari.
During the analysis, 40 different perfume products were tested. Three of them contained 10 types of allergens that can cause skin reactions in people prone to eczema and other dermatological conditions.
The most expensive of the tested fragrances was Gucci's perfume - The Alchemist's Garden Tears from the Moon Eau de Parfum, which costs 2850 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $365) for 100 ml.
The Allegra Passeggiata fragrance from Bvlgari Parfums was also on the list, containing 10 potentially allergenic components, with a price of 2260 Hong Kong dollars. Colonia Eau de Cologne from Acqua di Parma, priced at 997 Hong Kong dollars, was also included.
It is important to note that the presence of allergens does not necessarily mean a risk for all users. However, individuals with sensitive skin and chronic skin conditions are strongly advised to carefully examine the composition of perfumes before purchasing.
