At the end of January this year, the Ministry of Defense also made a statement regarding the tragic cases of the deaths of several servicemen. The department emphasized that "the command of the Armed Forces fully understands the seriousness of the situation and its responsibility for the safety of servicemen." In this regard, Defense Minister Dauren Kosanov instructed to take a number of emergency measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. Among these measures are the dispatch of commissions to military units for a comprehensive psychological assessment of each serviceman, as well as a reassessment of their mental state and readiness to perform official duties. Additionally, comprehensive inspections of military units are being conducted by military police, and control over personnel is being strengthened, including during off-duty hours.
