
According to MiddleAsianNews, Mongolia has counted its centenarians aged 100 and older. The data is updated annually, traditionally coinciding with the Tsagaan Sar holiday.
The largest number of centenarians resides in the capital district of Bayanzürkh.
As of February 13, 2026, there are 166 people in Mongolia who have reached the age of 100 and older, among whom the oldest resident of the country is a 108-year-old person.
The report states that there are 92 centenarians living in the aimags, while 74 are in the capital. Of the total number of centenarians, 128 are women and 38 are men.
The highest number of centenarians, specifically 18 people over 100 years old, is registered in the Bayanzürkh district, followed by 17 people from the Khan-Uul district, 10 from the Övörkhangai aimag, and 7 from the Bayan-Ölgii aimag.
