According to foreign sources, Panch was born in the summer of 2025. Unfortunately, shortly after his birth, his mother turned away from him, and the zoo staff took on the responsibility of raising him, continuing to care for his health and well-being.

To compensate for the lack of maternal warmth, the zoo workers provided him with soft toys and blankets. As a result, Panch became particularly attached to a plush orangutan, which became his faithful companion — he hugs it while sleeping and always carries it with him around the enclosure.

Experts note that in the first months of life, baby macaques usually stay in close contact with their mothers, so such "substitutes" help reduce stress levels in animals raised by humans.

Currently, Panch is gradually being introduced to other monkeys; however, he continues to keep his toy close, even when interacting with his peers.

Panch's story has generated significant interest online, where users comment on his touching behavior and discuss the conditions of animal care in zoos.
