Trump urged Zelensky to "act" to seize the opportunity for a deal with Russia
Earlier, in an interview with The Atlantic magazine, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his preference for continuing hostilities rather than concluding a "bad peace." He noted that he is not ready to agree to terms that he considers unacceptable for Ukraine, even with the desire to end the conflict as quickly as possible.
"We are not losing," he added.
According to Zelensky, if Trump wishes to strengthen his image as a peacemaker, he should use the current situation to facilitate the resolution of the conflict.
Additionally, it has become known that a new round of negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. may take place in Geneva on February 17-18. According to sources from Politico, the American side hopes for progress; however, territorial disputes remain a key issue.
