It was reported that "the Joint Operational Group 'Southern Spear' conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel belonging to organizations recognized as terrorist," the command stated on the social network X.
This incident marks the fourth strike by the USA on a vessel in international waters since the beginning of this year. Since November 2025, the United States has been involved in Operation 'Southern Spear,' aimed at combating drug cartels.
