
The collision occurred during a refueling at sea: the destroyer Truxtun and the fast combat support ship Supply met on their course, reports the Southern Command. As a result of the incident, two sailors sustained minor injuries, but their condition is assessed as stable.
After the incident, both vessels were able to continue their journey away from the collision site.
The causes of the incident remain unclear at this time, and the Southern Command has begun an investigation.
