TULGA Tömör-Ochir
On February 13, an international freestyle wrestling tournament will take place in Bishkek featuring leading wrestlers from around the world.
Four top wrestlers from each of the five Olympic weight categories will participate: 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, and 97 kg.
Mongolia will be represented by Tulgа Tömör-Ochir, known for his silver and bronze medals at world championships, as well as two silver medals from Asian championships, in the 65 kg weight category.
Tulga's opponents in this category will be:
- Abasgadzhi Magomedov (Russia), holder of the titles of world champion and silver medalist, two-time European champion;
- Ruslan Abdullaev (Azerbaijan), silver medalist of the U23 World Championship;
- Bilol Sharip (Kyrgyzstan), champion of the "Yashar Dogu" tournament, two-time bronze medalist of the U23 World Championship, and two-time champion of the U23 Asian Cup.
The draw will determine the pairings for the semifinals. The winners of the semifinal matches will advance to the finals, while the losers will compete for bronze medals.
