Reports of quarantine in kindergartens of Tashkent refuted

The agency noted that the city maintains a stable epidemiological situation regarding infectious diseases mentioned on social media, including measles, meningitis, hepatitis, and tuberculosis. These diseases did not lead to the introduction of quarantine.

As a rule, an increase in flu and ARVI cases is recorded during the winter period. In this regard, precautionary measures are being implemented in educational institutions, such as morning "filtering," measuring children's temperatures, and temporarily isolating those showing signs of illness. These processes were mistakenly interpreted by some citizens as the introduction of quarantine, the administration explained.

Specialists urged the residents of Tashkent not to succumb to rumors and to rely only on official sources of information.
