
Macron emphasized: “When we face open aggression, we should not give up or seek compromise. We have already tried such a strategy, and it did not work.” He noted that he always tries to be respectful and predictable in communication with U.S. President Donald Trump, but this should not be perceived as a weakness.
In his view, the current U.S. administration demonstrates an “openly anti-European position,” showing contempt for the European Union and seeking to divide it.
According to Macron, “the trade war with China is like a tsunami,” while there is constant instability from the American side. These two factors create serious challenges for Europe. He warned: “When the crisis begins to weaken, we must not lose vigilance and think that all problems are solved. This is a misconception, as instability continues to exist.”
