A new project has been launched in Mongolia aimed at promoting dental and oral hygiene. This initiative is supported by the presidential program "Healthy Mongol" and the Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Dentistry (JSDA). This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

During a visit to Japan, a meeting took place between Japanese dentists and a Mongolian delegation led by Ambassador Bayarsaihan Banzragch and Presidential Advisor Badamtsetsgeg Batmunkh.


At the meeting, Ambassador B. Bayarsaihan presented a strategic document regarding the long-term development of the country, its people, and the healthcare system. He noted that in March 2025, a meeting of participants in the "Healthy Mongol" program, initiated by President Khurelsukh Ukhna, will take place to discuss the launch of the current project.

Organized jointly with the Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Dentistry, the meeting gathered dentists and hygienists, including President Toru Matsuo and Dr. Enkhsaikhan Purevjav from the University of Tennessee.

The parties are beginning collaborative work on the implementation of modern dental technologies and scientific research in the field of rejuvenating dentistry and oral therapy, based on Japanese experience.

Mongolian Presidential Advisor Badamtsetsgeg Batmunkh presented information about the "Healthy Mongol" program and the health issues of the people, while Tsetsgekh Batmunkh, head of the Department of the Ministry of Health, discussed the state of dental and oral health and answered questions from those present.

The Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Dentistry plans its first visit to Mongolia in August of this year to learn about the state of Mongolian dental and oral health and to conduct joint activities.

Toru Matsuo, the head of the society, noted that the information about state policies and decisions in the healthcare sector of Mongolia, as well as the causes and conditions of dental diseases in children discussed at the meeting, will be of great significance for further cooperation.
