According to the new decree, the educational program for 'zero' classes will become part of the mandatory general secondary education. Private educational organizations will also be able to enroll children in these classes, which will expand opportunities for parents. Classes in preparatory groups may be conducted not only by qualified teachers but also by final-year students of relevant universities, which will create additional opportunities for students and diversify approaches to teaching. Upon completion of the 'zero' class, children will be issued an electronic state-standard certificate, and information about their preparation will be reflected in their general secondary education certificate. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has been tasked with adapting the curricula for 'zero' classes, taking into account their mandatory status in the educational system. The decree provides for the introduction of a game-based learning format in preschool education, aimed at developing positive social interactions among children. In developing the program, specialists rely on international experience. From 2026 to 2028, new preschool educational institutions called "Yangi avlod" ("New Generation") will open in Karakalpakstan, as well as in regional centers and Tashkent. These organizations will feature innovative centers focused on child development. These centers will offer thematic play areas appropriate for age and developmental stages, covering areas such as creativity, science, physical activity, and robotics. The educational and upbringing process will be organized through simulation situations aimed at fostering interest in professions and forming an ecological culture among children.
