In response to the editorial inquiry, it was stated that "the patient was receiving treatment in the hospital and was discharged in January for outpatient care. All information regarding the state of health, diagnosis, and treatment methods is protected in accordance with Article 273 of the Code on the Health of the People." Thus, 84-year-old Sara Nazarbayeva spent about 10 months in the clinic.
