A terrible car accident occurred in northern Nigeria, in Kano State, resulting in the deaths of at least 30 people. This was reported by Kazinform, citing Daily Post Nigeria.
The accident happened early Sunday morning in the Kwanar Barde area, which is within the local government of Gezawa. Preliminary reports suggest that a truck heading towards the city of Gudung was involved in the accident, allegedly due to speeding.
Many people who were in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and have already been taken to hospitals for necessary medical assistance.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has instructed for urgent medical help to be provided to the victims.
