According to the agency, an AH-1S helicopter crashed in the Gapyeong County, located in Gyeonggi Province, at 11:00 local time.
Authorities reported that there was neither fire nor explosion as a result of the incident.
The Cobra AH-1S helicopter, which was conducting a scheduled training flight, belonged to the 15th Aviation Battalion of the Ground Forces. Both crew members were warrant officers.
The causes of the crash are currently being investigated, and the military has initiated an inquiry into the incident.
