Aspects of inter-parliamentary cooperation were also discussed


Recently, a meeting took place between Ruslan Kazakbaev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey, and Abdullah Güler, a deputy and leader of the Justice and Development Party faction in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Yusuf Beyazit, a deputy and head of the inter-parliamentary friendship group "Turkey–Kyrgyzstan," also participated in the event.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the conversation, Kazakbaev presented a detailed report on the political and economic transformations that have occurred in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the results of the recent parliamentary elections.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities for further development of inter-parliamentary and inter-party cooperation, as well as ways to expand trade and economic ties and cultural-humanitarian interaction between the two countries.

In addition, issues related to organizing mutual high-level visits and Kyrgyzstan's cooperation with Turkey on multilateral platforms, including the Organization of Turkic States, were discussed. The Kyrgyz side emphasized the need for the prompt entry into force of previously signed bilateral agreements.
