An unusual incident occurred on January 24 in Tongjiang County, located in Sichuan Province, where a local farmer decided to use a drone to transport pigs. During the first attempt, a pig suspended by a rope got tangled in a high-voltage power line, leading to an accident, reports the South China Morning Post.

As a result of this incident, the village was left without electricity for nearly 10 hours. The energy company needed to involve 12 employees to address the damage. According to estimates, the restoration work cost 10,000 yuan (approximately $1,400). Full restoration of the power supply occurred only by 5:00 PM on the same day.

The police found that the farmer likely violated the law, as the drone was used in a no-fly zone and was overloaded. If his guilt is proven, he faces administrative penalties and the need to compensate for the damage.

The story quickly spread across Chinese social media, where users humorously commented that the pig "managed to become famous before its demise" and became a "flying legend."
