The opening ceremony of the XXV Winter Olympic Games took place in Italy, where Uzbekistan also presented its team.
During the parade of nations, the delegation of Uzbekistan proudly carried the national flag.
The country will be represented at the Olympic Games by: Dmitry Chigirev and Ekaterina Geinish in pair figure skating, Medet Nazarov in alpine skiing disciplines slalom and giant slalom, as well as Daniil Eybog in short track at a distance of 500 meters.
